About Us
The Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce of New York (TCCNY) was founded in 1976, the first Taiwanese business association in North America. TCCNY is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit business association. Its members are generally 40 years old or older, and are either well-established entrepreneurs or top corporate executives, covering a wide range of industries, such as finance, real estate development, construction, furniture, restaurants and beverages, hospitality, accounting and legal services.
TCCNY holds business seminars, sponsor charitable events, and plays a part in influencing public policy making on all levels of the United States. With over 40 years of history and experience, TCCNY has made outstanding contributions to, and influenced Taiwanese overseas associations in, the Greater New York area and throughout North America. TCCNY is a member association of the Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce of North America (TCCNA), which is a member association of the World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (WTCC). TCCNY’s founding President, Jen Tai Tsai, was also the founding President of WTCC.
The Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce of New York (TJCCNY), a junior chamber of TCCNY, was reestablished in April 2017.TJCCNY is dedicated to establishing a platform for sharing business resources and opportunities for young professionals and entrepreneurs mainly between the ages of 20 and 40.
